Non-private tours can be booked online either directly in the REDRIB webshop, on one one of our affiliate platforms, by online payment links or manually by email or phone. Private tours, corporate tours and tours requested by agencies are generally booked manually by email and invoiced, or payed online if agreed. REDRIB invoice companys, corporate offices, partner agencies, DMC:s and incoming offices. Generally, tours are to be paid before the performing date if no other prearrangements has been made. A requested or preliminary reserved tour is considered confirmed and booked only after payment, either online with card payment upon check-out instantly, or after a sent invoice has been paid.
REDRIB reserves the right not to confirm a booking and perform a tour, without any form of compensation, if the payment has not been made within the payment schedule issued in the invoice and no other payment arrangements has been agreed upon. Per default the invoice is due 7 days after issuing. When a booking is paid and confirmed, our general cancellation policy applies. If the booking is made online on one of our online affiliate partner platforms, their cancellation policy applies.
REDRIB does not accept credit card payment requests sent by email or manually charge credit cards. REDRIB does not see, handle or store any card payment data. All online payments are performed via third party secured card issuers and payment links. After payment a booking confirmation is sent and the tour is considered booked and confirmed.
Passengers may cancel their bookings at any time up to 7 days before the scheduled departure time and receive a full refund. For cancellations notified after 6 days before departure a 50% refund will be given. Cancellations made later than 2 days before departure are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be notified by email and are always confirmed. If the customer did not book directly with REDRIB, he/she has to cancel with the booking agent. Last-minute bookings with departure time shorter than 2 days are non-refundable. REDRIB has the right to cancel a reservation or offer a re-scheduled departure or tour in case of natural circumstances that would jeopardize the safety on the tour. In such cases, as in cases of cancelling due to technical faults, no fees will be charged and the customer is entitled to a full refund or re-scheduled departure or tour.
Certain weather conditions like sun, strong winds, ice, or snow can not be guaranteed for any tour. A certain weather condition is not accepted as a reason for a partial refund, refund, or cancellation unless REDRIB cancels a tour due to safety reasons or f.ex. due to severe temperatures.
Due to severe or changing weather conditions a tour might be rescheduled, rerouted or rebooked in cooperation with the customer. The means of transportation can also change according to weather conditions to ensure a safe and pleasant tour.
Passengers should present themselves at the agreed boarding point no less than 15 minutes before the advertised departure time for the tour.
No refund will be made to passengers who, without prior notification by phone or email directly to the tour operator, do not present themselves at the departure point in time to board the trip they have booked. No-show is registered after 30 min. from the departure time in cases no contact can be established to missing passengers. No claims of rescheduling can be made after no-show is registered. Late arrival will not extended the duration of the tour accordingly, even if notified.
All adventure trips are generally undertaken at the participants own risk. REDRIB ́s liability is limited to the Finnish Maritime Act and its regulations concerning charter tour operators. REDRIB cannot accept liability for any costs, loss or inconvenience caused by natural conditions, adverse weather or Force Majeure. REDRIB does not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by its customers or can be traced to their own actions. We advise all our clients to have a valid personal travel and liability insurance. REDRIB boat passengers have a limited P&I -insurance (protection and indemnity) for the duration of the tour according to the offering insurance company ́s general terms.
Participating in trips or events with injuries or temporary disabilities is possible only after prior consultation and approval with our staff. If approved, the participant is fully responsible for all further damages or injuries that may occur and which are related to the participants original injury or temporary disability. The participant takes therefore part in all activities fully at his/hers own risk.
Participants with permanent disabilities can be approved after prior approval only and are to follow the special advices given by our staff.
REDRIB reserves the right to deny carriage to any passenger whose acts, mental or physical state, or impairment from alcohol or drugs, may present a risk to himself, other passengers or the safe operation of the vessel. No refund is made in cases of refusal of carriage when the cause is alcohol or drug abuse or safety jeopardizing acts.
